Hello, I’m testing the new 9.7.3 update on a staging site and when I try to update the plugins it gives a message “unauthorized.” Is it because the staging site url is different than the live site’s url?
If so, what actions do I need to take to update the plugins so I can fully test the staging site before going live?

Just got with my managed hosting support and had them check all permissions. Somehow, I’m getting these messages no matter if I’m trying to update the TD Cloud Library or the TD Composer in the theme or with the child theme activated. Also, same thing if I try to auto update or manually click on “Update” in the plugin panel.
BTW, my child theme made it through the jump to the 9 series just fine. The hold up is this update from 9.7.2 to 9.7.3.
“Download failed. Unauthorized.”

Please try disabling your child theme and try again. There may be a conflict between child theme and plugins when updating.

Thanks for your response, Vlad. It didn’t work. Both of the required plugins will not install even when the new theme is activated instead of the child theme.
What could be the case? Again, let me remind you that my live site is doing just fine with this child theme up through 9.7.2. But, I’m having all of this trouble with 9.7.3.
How much of a security risk is it by my staying with 9.7.2?
