There’s an option in the theme panel -> Template settings
That is images loading – animations (lazyload)
What does this exactly does? Does this improve the site load speed like other lazy load plugins? Or it just provide animations.
Because I downloaded a plugin called jetpack and it has an option for the lazy loading for better page speed. So I want to know that if the inbuilt function in the themepanel can do that or should I enable this option in jetpack?

The purpose of the LazyLoad is to help page speed. Yes, the Lazyload option that comes with the Newspaper Theme will do the same as any other plugins.

Those option allow you to choose wich way you want the lazyload effects to work. That is your decision. Try all of them and see wich one fits your tastes.
