I am currently using a plugin called WordPress download manager, i have created some categories using the plugin, but i cant access these categories in the theme panel category section in order to make some configurations. Please how can i make these categories accessible in theme panel??

Hello !
Unfortunately you cannot do this. The Newspaper Theme works only with wordpress created categories. Any 3-rd party plugins are not supported on that. Here is the list with all supported and tested plugins: https://www.screencast.com/t/KLKz5aCbzsz
