I’m looking to just add a text header with menu. And a large image under it with footer on front page. Is this possible?

In the page content you can add any element from the composer list

There are text elements, image elements as well, adding them in the page in the location you want shouldn’t be a problem.
If you need help, please provide some more details about what exactly you would like to do, I will try to help. Let me know.
