I recently updated my theme but while accessing the Categories and Custom Typography sections in Theme Panel, options do not appear.

Do you mean the settings don’t show up when you click on a category or the entire content of the section doesn’t show up? Please check the browser console for errors, if you find anything please paste an image here.

Yes when i click on the a specific category no dropdown options to make the changes show. The Same with Custom Typogragphy and Translations. Its like its been disabled. Other sections in the Theme panel works and displays the dropdowns.

Likely try turning off all plugins except Visual Composer, and see if your panel works; then turn on plugins one by one to see which one is not compliant with the rest.
If using IE11+ or Chrome, you can also see the “errors” from your admin page by pressing F12 to load the “console” which is a great way to debug issues.
if you “recently updated your theme” – it’s possible not all the files were properly written. Did you delete old theme folder before uploading new one? Did you turn off all caching and plugins prior to updating?
Tried the plugins still not working. It’s only these 3 sections in the Theme Panel.
Yes I deleted the old files and reinstalled the theme via the control panel. But I was not able to do the caching and plugins thing before updating.

Please make sure you update the theme right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Also please make sure you do not have any js errors in the console also empty all cache/purge files and try again. This should work fine.
Also check this without any plugins active.
