Backend custom sidebar disable

Dear,

I hope for a quick answer. In the backend in post template one of my authors accidentally deleted a sidebar in the settings “Custom Sidebar”. This function is not used there and both fields must be removed. How can I do this best?

Hi,

So you would like to remove the sidebar position and selection options? That could be done by removing the actual code for them – https://prnt.sc/oofvct
But after an update it will have to be done again. A setting to disable these options does’t exist unfortunately.

that works wonderfully. Maybe you can take that as a selection option in the theme settings with purely. thanks alot.
