Greetings. I set up a development site to create our actual website while the current site displays a simplified “introductory” version. Do I have to repurchase the theme to use it on the dev site? I can provide our registration # etc. to prove purchase of the theme. Thank you!

If that livens was use only some tests, then all you need to do is to reset the key from that website test and activate it on the new website.
How to remove the licence key? simply reset the license key in the theme system status panel.

According to Envato license terms a theme can be used for a single end product (website)
