Hello there,
i am trying to create a new post and while trying to upload the post’s featured image, there is no thumbnail in the Media Library. The image was successfully located in the upload folder.
I click the empty thumbnail and as you can see in the screenshots attached, it seems a bit off the borders in backend.
I publish the post but the image is not there. I return to backend and image is missing from the featured image tab.

– PHP Version: 7.3 (tried with lower ones too) (no result)
– Enabled health check and troubleshooting mode (plugin) and disabled all plugins using the default theme (no result)
– Permissions checked (755 for folders – 644 for files) – (no result)
– More than enough space on the server (no result)
– Tried to disable mod_security (no result)
– Installed and run “Fix Media Library” Plugin (thumbnails recreated – no result)
– Run optimization and repairing of Database tables (no result)
Please help.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme-related plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also please note that this issue is not related to Newspaper Theme and we cannot offer support for it.
