When trying to edit text in the Column Text block, I’m not able to add or edit text in the Visual tab of the WP Editor. I am able to add / edit copy under the Text, but when I switch to Visual tab, the copy I added is not appearing or editable. I’ve checked across three of our sites adcreview.com, oncozine.com and bionavigen.com – all have the same issue. Could this be due to a recent update to WP 5.2.3?

Hi Vlad, this is not code I am trying to add to a page. This is text I’m trying to add. For example, if I go to https://www.adcreview.com/about-us/advisory-board/ and try to edit the first Column Text block (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/9FyTcp.jpg) and I click Edit Text the Visual tab is blank and doesn’t allow me to add content (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/qUgG3i.jpg)

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

We have the same issue. We deactivated all plugins except tagdiv composer but it does not work. We have 4 pages with newspaper theme and this issue.

@Vlad S, I’m also now not able to add a new Column Text block to the page – I just get a constant spinning circle (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/L2xav9.jpg). I will email your team our site login credentials.

Please disable WP-Bakery. Unfortunately this is a conflict between WP Bakery and tagDiv Composer.
We recommend using only one Page Builder on your website.

Hello @vlad , @exxxtra01 and @smehr we do not have WP Bakery so this was not the issue. It worked because we changed our browser. We use Chrome but it does not work with chrome, so we used Internet Explorer and Mozilla and it worked. Does anyone have a solution so we can still use Chrome and tagdiv?

Is look that the chrome in the last version have this problem with wp-editor from tagDiv Composer, we’ll check the compatibility between the new version and our builder and if there will be need our developers will provide a fix for this problem.

Just wanted to share how I resolve this issue with the Column Text not working, even in Firefox. The issue we were having was being caused by our CDN, Cloudflare. When we reinstalled Cloudflare, it activated a setting under “Speed” tab called “Rocket Loader”. Once this was turned off, everything worked perfectly.
