Weird Big Grid issue on homepage

Hey all, I just needed some help figuring out why the big grid section on my homepage is giving these crazy grey borders instead of the smooth dark transparency? The other sections on the page show the transparency effect, so I am not sure whats up.

You need to regenerate your thumbnails to fit those thumbnail sizes.

Note the plugin I use to make thumbs “larger” than what I originally uploaded is “thumbnail upscale” as WordPress can only make thumbs smaller than the uploaded image(s). 🙂
