Hello,
I’m trying to find a font that has working Romanian diacritics and currently I have no success on it, as even If I change the font from Theme Panel > Theme Fonts > Font Settings to Open Sans, it still shows different fonts for normal letters and diacritics.
Please guys help me out, I’m kind of “loosing my mind” trying to figure this out. Can you recommend me a font with working Romanian diacritics and also let me know how to install it/activate it and make it available on the entire website?
Thanks,
Rares
Hello,
You can chose one of these style -> https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/list/language/romanian also you can translate the website from theme panel> Translations -> http://prntscr.com/pgbp1e
Also if you want to have a font for the whole website, then you’ll need t set that font in theme panel, here is an example -> http://prntscr.com/pgbpsv you can check more in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hello Calin,
Thanks for your reply but I still have one questions:
After choosing a font from the link provided by you (for example Arcon font), how I’m going to “install” it to my wordpress website and to the Newspaper Theme and how I’m going to apply it?
Thanks,
Rares

Hello,
You’ll need to download the font you want to use it, make sure that this is in .woff format, if not you’ll need to convert it https://convertio.co/ after that upload the font -> http://prntscr.com/pgrp1j -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Ok now I have another problem,
I don’t know why but for most of the time the diacritics are using the same font as the other characters, but there are times when they are not and I’m not changing anything to say that I’m doing this. Also it’s fixing itself after some time.
In case of using an custom uploaded font, how the settings from theme panel should look like? For example the Google Fonts setting, should it be ON or Off? What about Latin support?
Thanks,
Rares
Hmm, apparently I figured it out, I had to manually change the fonts with TD Composer as most of the titles and content I had on the site were set with Lato font…
If for example I’ve changed every font from Theme Panel > Theme Fonts > Fonts Settings from what it was to my current custom font, does that means that the “Default Font” option from TD Composer is my custom font?
Hi,
The settings from theme panel are global and are apply only on default theme, if you are using cloud elements these will not be affected, these can be change only with tagDiv Composer, also setting the fonts ( style) with tagDiv Composer will overwrite the theme panel settings for that element.
Thank you!
