Theme is great but on responsive view, on my phone, the thumbnails are TOO COMPRESSED and look awful. How do I prevent this?

Hi,
For mobiles you need double sized images(retina) to look sharp, and the theme doesn’t have a feature like that, also is not recommended to load very large images on mobiles.
I see that there are some plugins that do that but was not tested, like
