Unfortunately the page number can be set only on post loops ( latest articles ), this can not be set flex or blocks, sorry!

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Calin was referring to pages from what I can see. Category pages have settings only in the theme panel.
Are you referring to the top grid displayed in the category pages? These would be all the types of grids available at the moment – https://prnt.sc/pqhg3l
On the mobile responsive version they will adapt, as they are predefined and don;t have any settings to change their layout desktop vs mobile.
If this is not what you wanted to know, some more details would be very helpful. Let me know.

Unfortunately there are no settings for this in Newsmag theme, sorry! this can be achieve only with custom css:
For mobile version you’ll need to use thus custom css -> http://prntscr.com/ps5a4o

Unfortunately in order to achieve 4 articles inline on desktop you’ll need to make some customization in theme files.
