Missing TagDiv Images And Page Load Time

My website is loading images that have probably been removed. It’s killing my load time:

It’s always those two images and I’ve been told they’re hardcoded in.

Forget about the gravatars, I just want to remove the redundant loading demo content images. (I think a lot of them are logos)

You see that’s the problem.
Your theme is requesting images that have been deleted from the media library.

I’ve deducted that the images are being loaded by the Style 26 Header.
That is even though they don’t appear anywhere it.
If I use another header, they don’t load.

I’ve got a pretty good idea that it is that horrible space invader background that is normally invisible and appears several times in that weird header.
