The background color and image settings for the menu modal are in the theme panel. When the mobile theme is not active you can use these settings

There is no option in or theme or WordPress that will automatically make the sub-menus for you -> https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/204-how-to-create-multilevel-hierarchical-menus-in-wordpress if you want to have sub-menus then you’ll need to add/set them.
