Ciao,
Since I switched to your Theme (which is fantastic, it’s giving me huge satisfaction and fun), I am noticing that the size of MySql database switched from 8 Megabytes (before I installed your theme) to now almost 150 Megabytes (!), and the value increases daily, with me only doing minor website adjustments – nothing new like posting new posts –
Checking the part of the Sql database who is increasing, I noticed that is the WP***_OPTIONS table, that alone is eating 113 Megabytes of space.
Is there a way to prevent, through an option in your Theme, this part of my database to become so big?
Thanks again, and really congratulations on your job: you can tell a lot of effort has been put in it.
Fabio

Thanks Calin, unfortunately basic database optimization is already something I do regularly.
I checked my SQL database and I finally found where the problem is:
there is a td_011_remote_cache value in the WP_OPTIONS table which size is 138 MB.
Now, my question is: “td” could be TagDiv right? In this case, is there an option – or a command – for clearing your Theme’s remote cache manually? or anything else?
My website is https://www.martialartsexplained.com : performances are fine, I am just worried about the size of the database growing bigger every day…
Grazie Calin

Ciao Calin and Alex,
after your tips regarding my problem, and after Alex checked my database, I still experience Database size over-sizing.
Without doing anyting on my website, the side of the database now is 214 Mb, and seems it won’t stop growing.
I reckon the problem is still in the td_011_remote_cache located in the WP_options part of the database.
Is there a way to periodically empty this folder or something similar?
I hope you will help me solving this problem.
Amit,
You solved my problem. You are the best. Please remember
