header.php in child theme is not respected

I am using the Newspaper-child theme. I have placed the header.php file there and made some modifications. However, it is not being displayed.

I added GTM codes and sample text “TEST HEADER” but it does not seem to work.

Could you please help with this?

Hello again Vlad,

I have followed the documentation, but I cannot see the header file to be copied to the child theme location.

There is just one file in there called: td-login-modal.php

Please see below screenshot:
