Hi there!
Since the update to Newspaper X (which was AMAZING for my website’s speed by the way), Google Analytics does not measure the events (i.e. clicks) on the website anymore. Also, 404 pages aren’t indicated in the measurement tool anymore. Is there something I could do about this?
Warm regards,
Siebren
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your message. The website is http://www.streamwijzer.nl and I mean the following regarding 404 pages. When you go to a nonsense URL, for example http://www.streamwijzer.nl/4noin3ipr, you are not being referred to a 404 URL anymore. Therefore, I cannot search for ‘404’ in Google Analytics anymore to see which 404 pages my visitors encounter.
Warm regards,
Siebren
Hi,
Please make sure that you still have add the analytics code set and this is working, we recommend to set it in theme panel -> http://prntscr.com/q3snxb in this way it will not be lost when you’ll make a theme update.
Thank you!
Hello Calin,
I have the same problem: it’s three days that my G. Analytics dropped to zero. Real time views also are not showing anymore. I created a new Analytics report, installed the code as you instructed, and the Result of Tag Analysis is positive (in Chrome, using the Google plug-in).
I really don’t know how to solve this.
Thank you
Hi,
Please make sure that the settings for Google Analytics Real-time Reports are set as in the article -> https://www.analyticsmania.com/post/google-analytics-real-time-reports-not-working/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
