Once we updated WP Core to v5.3 we could no longer access the edit screen, it’s just a blank white page and doesn’t matter which link you use to access it.
In troubleshooting this it turns out to be the tagDiv Composer plugin causing the issue. When we de-activate it the problem goes away. However, the whole site is rubbish without that plugin of course!

UPDATE: this issue is resolved.
It wasn’t due to the v5.3 WP core update. There was a Newspaper theme update and associated plugin updates (including TD Composer) waiting that had not yet been installed. I could’ve sworn they had been installed shortly after receiving your email notice about them back on the 6th of November, apologies…
