Hello !
For antispam we have not tested any plugins. You can try and test to see which one fits your tastes best. Normally a simple antispam plugin should not conflict with Newspaper Theme.

Hello mecit,
As Vlad said, you could try different plugins that suits you the best.
For my site, I am currently using Akismet, and the best part is it is free for Personal License. As of now, there is no plugin conflict on my site.
