Change Author Info in Block

Hi there,

I would like to change the author name in Block view into a custom post type. I would like to pull “location_town” from post type “events” instead of Author (admin) next to the date.

It would be highly appreciated if you could point me in the right direction.

Hi,

For blocks/modules this is the function used to get the author: http://screencast.com/t/TBMQsLik you need to alter it to pull your own data.

Hi,

Do you mean in blocks the author name. The code is here in each module http://screencast.com/t/Q6SvCviD, just delete the author code and add your custom code for that location_town
