Hi there,

I am using Newspaper X and WPML.
I want to change the text inside the Social Counter boxes such as: “Followers” “Fans” …
I am using the French and Arabic version but the translations are wrong.
Where do I find those strings?

Hi,

If you are referring to social counter then you’ll need to check in Appearance > widget or is this is not provide from widgets you’ll need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer and change the title like this -> https://i.imgur.com/GnJKnzN.png

I want to change the translation of those words in French and Arabic because they are wrong but I could not find where to do so. Please note I am using WPML.

Hi,

Unfortunately for these there is no translate in our theme, these will be automatic translate when you choose a language from WordPress. Maybe this can be done from theme files.

Hi,

I have the same issue for that in German language. Can you please help me – so where do the translations actually come from? And how could it be changed in WordPress?

They just translate “Followers” into a totally wrong German word… So thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,

The available translation language for the social can be find here -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/translation you need to translate it from the de_DE.po file -> https://i.imgur.com/Xzhm21e.png

Thanks. I found the translation in de_DE.po file, but if I update, it still does not apply on the site. What do I do wrong? Or is there maybe another way to change this translations?

What you can do is to make the changes on the social counter plugin -> wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/shortcode/td_block_social_counter.php -> https://i.imgur.com/CCmq7QK.png
