Text with title box

Hi all,

First I would like to say you guys did a great job on creating this theme.
I absolutely love the abundance of options. 🙂

However, I believe I discovered a bug in the theme.

It seems that you cannot save the Text with title box.
Everytime you save it, and you go back you will find a empty field.

Could you please take a look? Thank you very much!

Hi Lucian,

I found out the solution for this problem.
You have to save it through the Visual Composer system and not the WordPress system.

Anyway I have another question. I would like to set set a different class name for one of my text widgets, so I can change it without affecting the other text widgets.

However, when I fill in the field: “Extra class name” it does not seem to allow me to make changes through CSS.
Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

After you set a name for extra class, try to inspect text widget and see if your class is saved.

The extra class shows up, but when I try to change the CSS it does not work.
Which selector should I use to change the CSS of the text widget?

Hi,

I don’t know what are you trying to change. Try to target more specific and use !important like in this example(.test is my extra class): http://screencast.com/t/uyKmOghDe

Thanks a lot for your help!
I’ve managed to style my text widget.

However, when I put an background image or an background, it takes up the entire sidebar.
I would like to leave some white space just as the other widgets. Here’s the screenshot: http://pbrd.co/1BCXLnj

I’m afraid if it add the width myself it will mess up the responsiveness.
Could you help me set it right?

Hi,

You can select the widget via css and a padding to the right/left/top/bottom of the container to have an white space around it.
Send your site’s URL and point me to the container you want to customize and I will help you with it.
