Change Background Color of Cloud Header Template

I downloaded Clouder Header Template 6 and am trying to change the background from black to white, but nothing works. Here’s what I do:

  • I go to Cloud Templates
  • click on Header Template 6
  • Edit Template
  • click on main header so I’m editing Header Menu / Zone
  • Go to CSS tab
  • Edit Background Color to something other than
  • … still black (nothing changes)

What am I missing?

Hi,

Ok, so first you should change the color for menu -> https://i.imgur.com/aPR2pk1.png -> I’ve change the logo text color too -> https://i.imgur.com/BTWoIVa.png in order to change the background color please check the background color on the header row -> https://i.imgur.com/vZ2B01T.png -> https://i.imgur.com/WqZArNq.png

Another couple questions…

How do I get the header to align to the body container? Right now the background stretches past the body container (unlike when I was using the non-cloud version)?

Also, is there a way to make the logo a bit smaller?

Hi,

So if the header is not align, then you can can change the row stretch -> https://i.imgur.com/k4E3Dhm.png

If you are using a text as logo, then you can change the size like this -> https://i.imgur.com/2DllUJi.png

For the header background color – what I mean is that the background color of the (set by clicking on Row > CSS > Background) expands past the body container, as shown in your example above. I previously used the Header Style 6 where the gray background of the site went all the way to the top of the page on all viewports. Right now the desktop view has the background color expanding past the body container.

For the logo – it’s an image. In my current site, using Header Style 6, the logo is smaller than using Cloud Template 6 for some reason (and looks better with more white space around it). Is there any way to resize an image logo so it stays centered?

Hi,

Then just set the stretch row for the header on default and the gray background of the site went all the way to the top again.

Hi,

Can you show me where to set the Strech Row setting? I’ve tried everything, but the header will not fit the body on the desktop viewport as it did with the old Header Style 6 did.

In order to set the width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
