Hi,
On our demo there is an empty paragraph tag that generates that blank space. It is not an theme issue, you can also add it using css, like this: http://screencast.com/t/jSBXywvmNYU
Add this custom css in theme panel > custom css filed:
.td_mod8 .td_read_more {
margin-top: 10px;
}

It works fantastically . I understand that if the articles will contain tags that this gap will automatically ??

Hi,
Not necessarily as that paragraph tag has an margin which generates this gap. We will adjust this in the next update.
