How to make the image of the blog card smaller

Hi
In my blog entries, I often include an internal link (blog card) to the related blog entry. However, my linked box is currently so large that it doesn’t look good (because the image is stretched from its thumbnail?). Example-> https://gabyskitchen.net/2019/06/18/post-1730/
Can I make the image (photo) smaller and to be located at left side and text at right side?

If I understand well, you want to achieve something like this -> https://i.imgur.com/pUoqKI7.png you should be able to do that using the classic element from Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/6vbGqTH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CyFVPAo.png -> https://i.imgur.com/qvubqRV.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/YU786Er.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Bu2HHog.png -> https://i.imgur.com/f78FVUe.png
