Just installed Newsmag theme, and now have fatal error (Help!)

I just installed Newsmag on our site, and now when I login I get this:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/171559/webspace/siteapps/WordPress-61109/htdocs/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/plugins/class-tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.php on line 52

Please – how can I fix this?

UPDATE – I was able to reset the theme through the php dbase, which allowed me to access the dashboard again. That said, if there are any ideas on what caused this error, I’d be interested in hearing them.

Hi,

This is a strange case and the first of this kind, please provide some more details, also what I can suggest is to make a test, get the Newsmag theme v4.9.1 from themeforest and try to install it on localhost or sub-domain, check again if the problems still appear.
Also make sure that the Requirements for Newsmag are set as in our documentation/guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
