I was wondering if there is the ability to add a custom block that I build in pages and grab that code and then add it into a single post (inline like an ad placement) so that I can have a feature block inline on all articles?

Unfortunately this is not indicate, if you want to have inline ad placement you can achieved it for standard post style using the ads from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/mpEZ9HV.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ or if you have single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can edit it with tagDiv Composer, click on content -> https://i.imgur.com/DCnPKAO.png

So just to confirm – I can’t use the ad placements section to insert the shortcode of a block so that I can show a set of blocks instead of an ad?

It could work, I’m not sure for this because official we do not made any tests in that way, therefore we can not say if this will work properly or not because the ads place weren’t made for that, but if you want you can try it basically the shortcodes are display in ads place.
