There seems to be a disconnect between the Theme Panel and the TagDiv Composer. No edits that I make in the Theme Panel seem to take effect. For example, I am trying to remove the footer author box, disabling the option and saving in the Theme Panel. This has no effect. Please help!
Hi,
If you are using PRO demos, that are using cloud templates, then the settings from theme panel will not apply on those templates, only on standard style.
In order to make some changes, you’ll need to edit the pages and templates with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/SbatOH6.png -> https://i.imgur.com/jeFg9aP.png
Thank you!
Hi – thanks for the reponse. I understand now that this is the place where I need to make the change – my question is how to do this. Where is the code that creates this author box and how do I remove it? Thank you!
Hi,
You need to go on that page and click on edit with TD Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/7RZiwof.png after that you’ll can edit it on front, just right click on the element you want to remove and click on delete -> https://i.imgur.com/0pIcCOk.png
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details and a link where I can inspect the problem.
Thank you!
Hi Calin –
The change I’m trying to make is on the Single Post blog page. The problem is that the elements that I don’t want only show up in preview, not in editing mode, which means I can’t edit/remove them. Any solution there?
