Author links linking to home page

Can anyone help me please? My author links (when you click on the author’s name) have magically started linking to the home page. Does anyone know how I can assign this back so it links to the appropriate author page?

I have the same problem. Authorname and picture are linking to /author/andreas, but link is redirected to Home (/). Note: I don’t have a redirection in htaccess file.

The solution is:

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard. On the left-hand side menu, click on ‘SEO’.
The ‘SEO’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Search Appearance’.
2. Click on the ‘Archives’ tab.
3. Toggle the ‘Author archives’ switch to ‘Enabled’.
4. Click ‘Save Changes’.
