Hello !
Please make sure that you have activated the General Modal Image option on them as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0kEGJi16XD ; https://www.screencast.com/t/LJHjHW6p
Thank you !
Hello,
This option is not available in my website https://www.screencast.com/t/LJHjHW6p
Also i enable the General Modal Image but nothing yet.
I want to use default editor and not the new one. I tried with Gutenberg but nothing.
Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
If you use the classic editor make sure that you make the settings as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/ -> https://i.imgur.com/qvHF1nW.png let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Calin, Vlad,
I have the same issue.
Using Newspaper 10.3; Say What template. Customised – I’m not sure what is going wrong?
I have the General Modal Image enabled under the Post Settings; so that I don’t have to do it per image.
My post template (side wide) is Style 9.
Could you let me know what’s going wrong?

Hi,
I think that your images are set individual on off -> https://i.imgur.com/d4NNG4D.jpg please check them and enable the option.
Thank you!
Sorry, I don’t understand – I have to enable this per image?
But what is the point of the general/global setting then?
EDIT: Just tried to find that option, but it doesn’t even exist. But when I enable Modal image PER image, it screws up as the featured image can’t be changed. Please explain.

Hi,
This is an individual option for the modal image -> https://imgur.com/d4NNG4D that will overwrite the one from theme panel, therefore you need to check if the setting is enable or disable.
That option is on the images set using the Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/b2WBitS.png if you are using the classic editor then you can set the modal image like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
It seems that my questions aren’t being answered. Disappointing.
I’ve already said: I’m using the global setting to enable it across the website. But despite this, it isn’t being enabled per post.
I’m using the classic editor; I shouldn’t have to enable Modal PER IMAGE – this should automatically be applied using the global setting.
Even if I went to the effort of doing per image, per single post – it doesn’t work, as the lead/featured image doesn’t have it.
This seems like a bug.
Please advise.
Hi,
This option from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/1Y14Myc.png will apply only on images set like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Zdpbexi.png -> https://i.imgur.com/IDSDlfV.png -> https://i.imgur.com/YAFcmwi.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/qhHSUDW.jpg using this option will not work/apply -> https://i.imgur.com/FwOEofJ.png you need to manually enable the lightbox -> https://i.imgur.com/NMlxRoN.jpg I will make a requirement for the coming updates that this option to be enable if is set in theme panel.
Thank you for your understanding!
