3rd party shortcode not being rendered in category Template

I try to place a gallery on a category page.
If I add the shortcode in the description field it shows [foogallery id=”2061″] on the page instead of the gallery.

Next I created a custom field in which I put the short code.
With a PHP snippet I call this custom field and I placed the Snippet short-code into the template within a text block. The outcome is the same, it shows [foogallery id=”2061″] but not the gallery itself.
However when I put the gallery short-code directly into the text block it does show the gallery.

Hi,

The shortcode need to be set in a column text or a text with title, usually we recommend to set it with tagDiv Composer ->https://imgur.com/CSPcls9

For the second problem wit the custom filed, just make sure that you set it in a column text or a text with title, this should solved the problem.

let em know the results!
Thank you!

Hello, I did put it in “text with title”
As I explained, it does render the short-code when I place it directly in the text
but when I use a php-shortcode it does not render the output shortcode.

With the custom field of a profile, it is sdisplayed but shows the wrong info, a different ID, the admin ID.

Please have a look at my page and tell me how to fix this.
Thank you

Hi,

If this shortcode is working with a default theme from WordPress, then should work with our theme too, at list with a standard demos, if you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!
