Installed newspaper X on the website http://egzostive.com
It is coming along well although I am sure I haven’t used half of the template’s features.
There is one thing that bothers me now:
When scrolling up on a post, a most popular article suggestion appears over the article. I think this is a bit too much as it makes it difficult to actually read the post…
Can this be somehow removed?

Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
It could be a conflict with WPBakery plugin.Please deactivate the WPBakery and check the results!

Yes that seems to do the job, thanks for the advice. The site is also faster now.
If the Newspaper theme does not need WPBakery I will delete it.

Now everything is wrong!
I did the new update and the website got totally messed up.
When landing on the main page (http://egzostive.com), all I get is some scrambled code.
Seems like the main page is toally messed up, while the posts appear more or less okay (envira galleries or the article snippets work).
Would be good if you could remedy that tomorrow in the morning, as the server backup is usually a few days old.
Apparently now it works again.
It was a strange phenomenon, upon update WP Dashboard crashed totally. I had to re-login trough Bluehost, and manually activate plugins.
It is not a smooth process to update…

Please note that when you make a theme update, you’ll need to update the theme plugin and activate theme manually, this is an envato requirement (Updating the Core of the tagDiv Themes for Envato WordPress Requirements).
