Dear users
The standard search from the theme is doing a great job. For my site I have a also event, venue pages that are created as event (content type).
– Is it possible that the search only search to the standard post content types? (where I publish text articles) and not the events, venue content types.
OR
– Can I exclude the post of username X out the search results ? (all my events / venues are posted by user X)
Looking forward to any help.
P.s My Content types templates are:
To be:
Posts <= include in search results
Pages <= include in search
Media <= exclude out search results
Events <= exclude out search results
Venues <= exclude out search results
Organisers <= exclude out search results
Events <= exclude out search results

Unfortunately our theme do not have these options, our theme is using the WordPress search function, maybe this can be achieve using a plugin, I think that you can achieve what you need with this plugin -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/
