Hi Team,
We are in a crisis situation now, our gym website wefitindia.com was running a very old version of Newsmag theme, we tried updating it, but now it has become completely bad. Please help.
We have to update it to 4.9.3. At the time of corona we were trying to provide online guides to our members, but this thing had really brought us down. Also moving forwrd I have asked my team to create a dev environment instead trying live updates. Please support us now.
regards
Hi,
I just checked your website, and is possible to have a plugin conflict -> https://i.imgur.com/iUfEJ3t.png please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
The bad page was not the same for all, it was just for the posts for which ‘allow discussion’ was not checked.
Please tell me if our website is upgraded to 4.9.3 in the right way or not because before this we were using a old version of newsmag(2018 version) and we directly upgraded to 4.9.3
Hi,
“The bad page was not the same for all, it was just for the posts for which ‘allow discussion’ was not checked.” – this is meaning that you have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Yes, we are using for support the last version or the theme, right now is v4.9.3.
If there still a problem, let us know!
Thank you for your understanding!
1. Actually I wanted to ask if you can have a quick look at our website https://wefitindia.com and tell us if its upgraded to 4.9.4 correctly, please let us know if we are missing anything.
2. Also while updating to 4.9.4 there is a folder by name ‘patch_4.9.3_4.9.4’ in the zip. Where should files of this folder be place. Please advice
Hi,
1. I just checked the website and the update was successful, everything seems to be right.
2. The folder with patch_4.9.3_4.9.4 is for the users that wand to make the theme update manually and only in the files that were change.
If you made the update using our guide from here , then is no need for you to set the patch_4.9.3_4.9.4 in the theme.
Thank you!
