I have really enjoyed the theme but I can’t figure out how to use my own locally loaded fonts instead of waiting for the google fonts to load. I adds a little over one second to the page load which I would rather not have when the total load is barely 3 seconds.

Hi,
You can use this guide to add and use your own custom fonts: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-custom-fonts/ and remove the Google fonts from here, just comment or remove the one you don’t need/want: http://screencast.com/t/qAPsT9QxiGFr
