I’m updating the theme for a site that was previously using Newspaper 3.5 and in the test site I have running, none of the changes in the theme panel will save. I’ve activated the theme and the systems status looks good enough. There are some plugins throwing errors, but deactivating does not get the theme panel working. Upgrading for 3.5 to 10.3.2 (currently) is almost impossible unfortunately. There have been too many file changes that would be impossible to make them all work.
I would suggest you removing the 3.5 version completely and install the new one. That would be way more easy for you.

That is what I did. My question is not about updating, but why the theme panel is not working even though site status is seemingly fine. Can you let me know what sort of support you can provide for that specific issue?

Sorry for misunderstanding !
There can be some plugin conflicts between your plugins and tagDiv Ones. We recommend you to disable all your plugins ( except the tagDiv Ones ) and start activating them one by one, see which ones throw the errors.
