Lazy Loading for Ads

Is there a way in the Newspaper-Theme to LazyLoad-AdSense Ads? I have found several plugins that support this function to optimize the loading speed of the website. Unfortunately AdSense slows down every website…

I was going to ask the same question – It’d be great if there was a way to lazyload the ads. I just migrated over to Newspaper and our viewability decreased by 20%! The eCPM/ RPM is therefore suffering and I’m going to have to find a solution asap.

Here is an article on how to set up lazy load for Adsense UNITS (not auto ads): https://www.gulshankumar.net/setup-lazy-loading-google-adsense-ad-units/#close – I haven’t tried it yet. I guess this is the method most people use.

BTW, I looked at the Flying Scripts plugin. It makes no mention of using it for lazy loading Google Ads.

Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the Newspaper theme. It seems like there are more views on a wider range of articles. It’s been VERY fast, until I began trying Google Ads (which will be resolved, one way or another).

Hi, with wp-rocket, it’s possible but there is less clics because ads appear when people scroll page so they miss the header ad…
lazy load for adsense is better for speed but bad for money
