Hello – I’ve been converting our test site to use Cloud templates instead of the default post template and I only have one issue remaining before I can make the switch:
I’ve been using the custom field “author_alias” for our guest blog authors and I’m not able to make that work with the new single post cloud template.
Suggestions?

So if I understand correctly you want to integrate the author_alias filed in single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, as a suggestion you need to set the code in one element that you have set in your single post template, these can be found on this path ->
Also please notice that code implementation is not covered bu support team.

Hi,
As I know this solution should work on standard post style without problems, but on cloud template is very possible to not work, cloud template is a CPT the code for single post template is different from the standard post style/template, the files from this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single are used to create cloud templates, these are saved in database. The file responsive for the author is tdb_single_author.php
Also please note that this custom implementation is not covered by support team.
