I’m in the process of migrating my page and rebuilding it.
During my edits I discovered I’m not able to use image presets (25% 50% 75% 100%) the image is resizing visually, but not on the page – always stays full size.
I’m trying to make an image smaller.

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized">
</figure></div>
I noticed that I can make it smaller if I edit the HTML and remove <figure></figure> block but it breaks the image block in gutenberg.
I imported pictures vis FTP and then added it to Media database with a plugin. Note, that I don’t have any images resized in the database, I set the WP settings for images to 0 and I will regenerate thumbs later.
Any solutions?
Hi,
You can resize the images using Gutenberg editor like this -> https://i.imgur.com/EJtckMT.jpg also you can use these options -> https://i.imgur.com/9uVuSr6.png
Please note that this resize is working directly in Gutenberg without any other plugins.
Thank you!
I know how it should work but no matter what size I set the pictures these are stretched to fill the container in the theme.
Hi Calin
Please see the screens from this page

No matter what size I pick, the image is not keeping the size specified in the Gutenberg. I don’t have any caching plugin, and I loaded a fresh preview in incognito mode.
Let me know if you need any details.

Hi,
Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme, cache plugin or CDN, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
