I just updated and still getting the notification to update the theme via WP-admin/update-core.
I’m using the latest version, how to remove the notification?

I am facing the same issue, manually patched the file, Newspaper tab’s notification is gone –>https://prntscr.com/sljhzu, but WordPress theme update tab’s notification is still there –>https://prntscr.com/sljhwp

I think that you are referring to update notification, if is so , please click on check for updates -> https://i.imgur.com/BNhbaVZ.png and see if you get the last version.
If this is still not displaying, then you need to use the manual theme update mentioned at point B in our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Also after this update the notification should start to work again.

I’ve already done this, I always update manual, via patch folder that is made available and update the plugins all.
The theme panel says it’s up to date, but in wordpress update it always appears to say that the update is available.
