So i was using DMCA badge on my previous theme. After updating to Newspaper X, I can not see the widget I put that DMCA Code. I do not want the badge anymore, I also cleared Inactive widgets. But in GTMetrix, it is still detecting DMCA badge. Which means old codes are hidden in theme somewhere? Please Help.

If the DMCA badge was set in theme/WordPress files then is possible to still be there, but if was use as widget inside the posts/articles, then if you remove the code from the articles, then the DMCA badge should be remove too (posts, pages, settings from WordPress and theme panel are saved in theme panel).

Then depends on the zone where it was, if it was on a page or cloud templates, it can be set with tagDiv Composer, on sidebars it can be set in appearance> widgets, also it can be set in theme panel in ads sections.

🙂 Maybe I confused you because I said that the code can be set, but if the code was set in theme panel > ads, then from there can be remove too, also if the code was set using tagDiv Composer, then using tagDiv Composer can be removed.

The footer seems to be clean, there is set only the code that is displaying the current content.
Where exactly you see it on GTMetrix ?
Please note that there is other department that is responsive for showcase and the support team has no contact with that department, usually when a website is selected for showcase a member from that department will contact the owner of the website.
