is there a setting that removes the option for a main menu to have a drop down. i want to be able to just click the main menu items.. i don’t want a drop down of sub-menus. i don’t see any option to remove that and i don’t see any cloud menus to download that are not drop down. thank you.
Hi,
A drop-down menu is like this – https://prnt.sc/syjhud This type of menu can be created in the WordPress menus section.
The theme provides mega-menus – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ Which when using cloud headers have quite a few settings, so their design can be customized. You can preview the cloud headers here for example – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
What exactly would you like to do with the menu? Please provide a link to the website where the menu can be seen, mention how you would like it to look exactly, that will be faster.
Thank you!
Hi meeshymee,
I think that Vlad do not understand correctly.
You can create a menu as you want, a simple menu, a menu with sub-menus or a mega menu with sub-categories or without subcategories also you can set a page as menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/\
If you want to have a mega menu without thumbs you need to use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer click on menu and check the mega menu tab -> https://i.imgur.com/Su5KRyu.png
Thank you!
hello,
i understand i am not able to have a clickable menu if it has submenu categories.. YES, i would like it to be like this: https://prnt.sc/syjhud
but i don’t see anywhere in WP to do that. for now i have removed thumbnails from the submenus but the list is completely off from the parent menu (and is far to the left rather than neatly underneath as your link shows).. i have deleted the mega menu block (if that’s what you mean).. my link is: grandbendbulletin.ca
but i have made so many alterations it no longer looks how it did (the menu was a cloud download and is not from my theme).

Hi,
If this is what you want to achieve -> https://prnt.sc/syjhud you can do it very simple, go in appearance > menu create a new menu -> https://i.imgur.com/bLajvS5.png and select the pages, categories, posts you want to have in this menu -> https://i.imgur.com/fUncigj.png after that just drag the elements that you want to be in sub-menu a little to left like this -> https://i.imgur.com/G8f40Bm.png now all you need to do is save and set this menu -> https://i.imgur.com/cpZ9SWQ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/6G4adjZ.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
hello,
yes, i’ve already made a menu and already removed the thumbnail but as i said, it looks nothing like the example you showed. my submenu categories are not neatly listed one on top of the other under the parent category in the menu.. they are listed horizontally and take up room under ALL the menu headings.. i’m confused.
Hi,
That is because you are working on mega menu not on normal menu.
Just try the steps I’ve provide above, also here is a general article about how is working the menu on WordPress ->https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/204-how-to-create-multilevel-hierarchical-menus-in-wordpress
Thank you!
