We are experiencing a problem with our menu burger. It can take anywhere up to 20 seconds for the menu to display. This of course makes it look unresponsive, when it fact the menu will display eventually.
We are currently not using the mobile theme because that introduces a different set of issues.
This occurs when viewing on a mobile device, but also when the browser window is resized.
We have tried updating the theme and moving the site to a faster server. Nothing helps.
Any ideas?

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I have disabled all plugins. The one that seems to cause issues is tagDivcomposer and I think it has to do with the time it takes to load the site. Without this plugin, the site loads in a few seconds. When this plugin is active:
– the loading icon circles around the favicon for a very long time
– the ‘connecting’ message is displayed in the bottom left of the site for the same amount of time
– and the burger menu will not work until the loading has stopped.
Just in case this is related, we also get a message when editing the home page and can’t actually do anything on that page at all.
“Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
