How the 7 DAYS POST SORTING feature works. this is because i have a section on my website where i show the top stories of the week and i use the 7 day post sorting feature, what i would like to know is why i see post older than 7 days while the feature is enabled.
please help me out!

The “7 DAYS POST SORTING” pulls from ALL the posts the most accessed in the last 7 days NOT the posts that are published in the last 7 days, so it does not matter if a specific post, added in a block which uses a post sorting of this type, it’s 5 or 6 or 7 years old as long as it has been the most viewed post from last 7 days so you have posts older that 7 days in your top stories section because those old posts are among the ones that are most viewed within the last 7 days. We will try to improve the documentation to better illustrate this.
