At first my instagram widget was working after connecting the account now it’s not.
I tried unlinking and relinking, and when I try to relink it now I get this error:
error – This account’s access token is currently over the rate limit. Try removing this access token from all feeds and wait an hour before reconnecting.
Any ideas?
Hi,
Normally the theme will keep a cache that will refresh every 3 hours, the Instagram content will be displayed from that cache. This way the limit set by Instagram for the requests should not be reached.
Maybe that cache is not working correctly for you, and the requests are exceeding the limit Instagram sets. They will then block them for a while.
Have you maybe tried some Instagram feed plugins to see if they work correctly?
