My last question was left unanswered unfortunately, however, I’m guessing it was of no fault to anybody.
Anyway, moving on…
I need some support to help me implement specific features.
I have the newspaper theme but I want to make some big changes.
Thanks in advance.
Also do I have to discuss them out in the open like this?
Yes. You need to ask for support in the support forum, which is in the open. If it’s a security flaw or similar, or need somebody to login to your system to see what a bug might happen to be, they will usually ask you to email them any “secure” info and obviously not post that here.
FYI: Theme developers don’t do custom modifications. For “big changes” you might/definitely will need to hire a developer; as the company doesn’t provide a re-engineering service beyond what the theme is designed and advertised to do.
Once you review the theme docs, you can ask for help here, and then TagDiv support folk and/or the “community” can chime in with solutions already done the past 13 months with theme, or help with your specific use case.
I am a developer.
I’ve built over 1000 websites.
I was just going to ask for your experience and best advice but I don’t want to put you out. I’m well aware my $60 just bought the theme in an as is basis but customer support is going the extra mile. Right, so, why won’t the settings work when I try to make the header transparent and/or move the header up?
Thanks for your support.
Me, too. And I have a design award from Apple. Yay us!
So, typically for support tickets here …
specify the problem or question, and link to a post/page where you’re having the issue to see if it’s a console error, possible conflict with a plugin, etc.
TagDiv support folk are great at checking that for you. And you can do CSS over-rides from the theme panel; first look at the inspector in Chrome to find the class.
The whole reason for purchasing your theme was to take advantage of the website in a box, now I know I could throw in some custom css or even redesign the whole thing but then that would defeat the whole point in spending $60 entirely.
I worked for apple for 2 years, since left and setup a digital agency which I’ve now sold for £750,000 and I’m trying to make easy work of this website to set and forget before I leave for Thailand next week for a 7 month holiday.
Time is of the essence.
Thanks for your support.

I don’t work here. I’ve just been using the theme for 12+ months on several production sites for our network generating 10 million page views, and I make a billion dollars a day in my dreams. So we both know what we’re doing. Woohoo!
So, go ahead and post your problems and folks will try to help 🙂
