Not able to Activate Theme

Hi,

I just installed the Newspaper Theme, initially i saw the activate theme, but didn’t activate it. I installed demos and did some customisation. The Activate Theme is not visible now.

If I try to activate from System Status or Update tab, I get an error ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’

Tried restoring back up and reinstalling the theme, removed security plugin, caching plugin, cleared cache, still facing the issue.

Could someone please advise.

Found out the solution from another thread in the forum

Solution worked was

admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.”
