How can I reproduce hover shadow effect of my sidebar articles images “recent posts”, on big grid flex on home page ?

.td-big-grid-flex .td-image-container {
box-shadow: 2px 2px 4px #888!important;
}

this code works, but now I need the hover effect with shadow and transition on the big grid flex images.

I thought it was just a css code :hover
