I am trying to delete some components after installing the scandal demo content.
However, the builder just shows a dark overlay and there are a bunch of javascript error.

I just make some test on my install and for me the delete option is working without problems, also I do not get any errors in console -> https://i.imgur.com/IqJcCgc.png
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I am hosted with WordPress.com so that is a bit of a problem with me as I cannot deactivate the default plugins that wordpress.com provides.

At the end the problem can be caused by a plugin from the platform that you can not disable, the only way to find out is to test only with theme plugins. If you want you can try on localhost and in this way you’ll know if the problem is from untested plugin or platform.
Also if we login and we can not disable the plugins, then we still can not investigate this problem.
